Hundreds of men and women gave their lives to Christ in the pre-festival ministry week (Jan. 19-24) for God Loves Kenya 2015, with NGA partner evangelists Mark Johnston, Richard Hamlett, Reid Saunders, Mark Mohr, Raymond Centanni and Ginger Hamlett. The six NGA evangelists, together with hundreds of pastors and leaders, will blanket the cities of Mbita, Oyugis, and Homa Bay during the festival week of January 26-31, bringing the great news of Jesus Christ to tens of thousands of people.

The festival outreach will also include youth sports events at high schools, orphanage or prison visits, men’s and women’s conferences, pastors’ conferences and children’s ministry areas. Outstanding musicians Rose Muhando and Christafari will lead worship and praise on the festival stage, where evangelists will proclaim a clear Gospel message and invite people to make a commitment to follow Jesus Christ.

“The unity of these churches and pastors has been incredible,” said evangelist Raymond Centanni, reporting on the pre-festival week. “What the church of God can do when we are one family with His heart for the lost! Just like Jesus taught us in Luke 15.” More than 200 pastors and leaders in Kenya have come together in a spirit of unity and collaboration to work alongside this incredible evangelistic team.

In the pre-festival week, six team evangelists took time to teach and train believers in churches throughout the region. Meanwhile, ministry teams set up clinics and outreaches where over 450 men and women received dental hygiene services, 300 received eyeglasses, and clothing was distributed to 250 children. During the week more than 650 people gave their lives Christ and accepted His great gift of eternal life. That’s an amazing week!

Please pray for 23 team members as they prepare for the week of festivals. Tens of thousands of people are expected to attend the region-wide campaign. As Centanni says, “Kenya changes and humbles you. It makes you understand the true gift we have and the incredible value of it. And it makes you want to share His gifts all the more.”
