Praise God for the work He accomplished during our campaign in Cape Town, South Africa. We’re rejoicing over God using this campaign to share the Good News with thousands of people!
Organized by the local evangelical community and supported by thousands of volunteers, the events in Cape Town built on years of the Andrew Palau and team’s committed ministry in Africa spanning over a decade. We were consistently reminded by leaders just how important this week was to them – how thrilled they were to share such joy and hope with their beloved city.
It was a unique moment for the nation of South Africa . . . and the perfect timing for us to come and share the Good News. The nation is in a significant challenge financially. However, they also just had a great moral victory in seeing their national rugby team win the World Cup. All the local leaders were encouraging me that this unique moment of hopefulness in the midst of struggle was a great moment for us to stand together to share the lasting, unifying reality of salvation in Jesus Christ. And that’s exactly what we experienced.
The week included multiple events that unified the Church and reached thousands.
Some highlights from this week include:
Uniting hundreds of local evangelists to encourage, inspire, challenge, and bless them in their work.
A powerful tent meeting where we shared the Good News with hundreds of families and saw many of them make a decision for Jesus Christ.
Multiple days of street ministry, prison ministry, and hospital outreaches.
An evangelistic dinner for hundreds of business and civic leaders.
These outreaches not only gave a tangible blessing to those involved but also shared hope through the message of the Good News shared at every possible opportunity. The finale of the week was bold festival event with events for children, live music, and a message of hope from Andrew Palau each.
Thank you for all you do. We love your heart for the lost, your passion for the Lord, and your commitment to the Gospel. It’s a joy to link arms with you – in South Africa and all around the world.
