For more than 26 years, the Palau Association has built relationships and planted seeds for ministry in China. Since Luis first visited Hong Kong in 1997, new doors of opportunity have opened to share the Good News. From the city of Harbin in the north to Hangzhou in the south, we’ve been given the clear blessing and authorization to share the Good News in many ways. We’ve spoken in churches, to business leaders, at concert halls, in seminaries, at universities, and to entire groups of government leaders.

Every time we minister in China, there is tremendous fruit, overflow crowds, and exuberant faith. And the response to the Gospel is overwhelming. Even more, after each successful trip, we are met with one question from both government and local church leaders—“When will you return?”

We’ve always made our intentions and message clear. The Good News of Jesus Christ is always proclaimed clearly and boldly. An opportunity to publicly accept Christ as Savior is almost always given. It hasn’t always been easy. There have been setbacks. We’ve had to use a tremendous amount of wisdom. And God has been faithful. Now a new door has been opened to expand our reach this December.

This December, we have the opportunity and joy to minister in four major cities in China— Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing, and Huai'an. We’re talking about dozens of gatherings. Clear Gospel presentations. Evangelistic meetings in churches. Gatherings with seminary leaders. And strategic planning meetings with top government leaders. The prayer is that this unique trip will help to build bridges, share the Gospel, and set the stage for even greater ministry in the future. By God’s grace, we also have the opportunity to continue distributing What is Christmas? as an educational tool to help Chinese churches share the meaning of Christmas.
