When COVID-19 first hit, none of us knew exactly how much it would impact our daily lives. Little did we know how significantly it would impact our plans for ministry as well. And yet now, as if overnight, we are all learning a new way of life and ministry.
As an organization, we have not been immune to the effects of this pandemic. We have offices and staff strategically located throughout the world who have been working on citywide evangelistic campaigns. Some of those campaigns have been able to continue on, using serious caution and adjusting protocol, while others have had to be postponed until a later date.
In the meantime, much of our work continues as planned, and even some efforts have grown during these unique times. These include our efforts with City Gospel Movements, Next Generation Alliance, and our extensive digital evangelism strategies through Hope with God.
Many of our friends are unaware that we have been sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ online for many years - reaching thousands of people each day with the life-changing message of the Gospel. The second this pandemic hit, we increased our efforts in digital evangelism. We knew it might be the only way we could keep sharing the Good News during this season. Little did we know it would be so fruitful. People are responding in record number!
Never have we seen such tremendous response to the Gospel in the history of our team!
Every day we are actively sharing the Gospel with tens of thousands of individuals through Facebook, Instagram, Google, and beyond. We are placing strategic ads for hurting individuals so they may encounter Jesus and respond to His Gospel. And praise the Lord, He’s using our efforts to reach far and wide!
Last year alone . . . we led more than 924,000 people in indicated decisions for Jesus Christ through our online efforts. And this year, we’re expecting even greater numbers.
Whatever the days ahead hold for us, we are not afraid. Instead, we are hopeful. People are more open to the Gospel than ever before. Our reach is greater than we’ve ever seen. And the response to our Gospel presentations are reaching historic highs.
Church history has shown us how God has used difficult circumstances just like this to grow His Kingdom and open new doors for ministry. We know that in all things – including this specific scenario – God is able to do immeasurably more than we could ever imagine.
We appreciate and value your prayers. We pray for you as well – that the Lord would use you during this time of uncertainty to share His love, hope, peace, and joy. How we react says a lot about where we’ve put our trust.
