What a powerful weekend!

Carry the Love: London -- which took place during the week of April 28 through May 6, in the lead up to the historic King’s Coronation events -- helped saturate London with the Good News of Jesus Christ in a unique and powerful way. The Palau team was overjoyed to play a critical role in this effort.

By nature, the gatherings were much more intimate than the large-scale festivals and rallies LPA is known for. Renting out a hall in the center of the city, the Palau team, along with Circuit Riders (a ministry of Youth with a Mission), dozens of churches, and hundreds of volunteers, hosted two days of evangelistic gatherings.  Award-winning artist Guvna B and Elle Limebear headlined the evenings, with Andrew and Wendy Palau, as well as several others, joining them on stage to share clear evangelistic messages and powerful testimonies.

In total, more than 1,000 people came out for the two-day outreach, with more than 100 individuals making a decision for Christ.

As you looked out over the crowd, you couldn’t help but be encouraged. The venue was full of millennials – backpacks and skateboards in hand. It’s not something often seen in UK churches. Many in the group had come from across the UK, Europe, and even the United States, to take part in the gathering. Not only were they there to proclaim the Good News and reach out to other youth, they were preparing for a week-long saturation campaign that would take the Gospel throughout the streets of London.

As the weekend events concluded, hundreds of young evangelists were commissioned to go out throughout the city, sharing the Good News with everyone they met. And the stories we have already heard – of how God has orchestrated conversations and led people to repentance – are truly encouraging. Here are just a few stories to encourage and bless you….

“We are currently in a kebab shop getting late night food, and my friend just led a guy to Jesus outside! As the Gospel was being shared, he said he’d never been given the opportunity to hear or respond to the Gospel before and he gave his life to Jesus right there on the spot!”

“Three teenagers just gave their lives to the Lord! They were swearing and smoking as I walked over to speak with them. The Lord instantly cut through with love and compassion and they were gripped by the Gospel and ready to turn from their lives of sin and give everything to him. Praise God!”

We are rejoicing in the work God is doing in the UK. It is tough soil. Difficult work. But God is breaking through. And your partnership is making a difference.

Thank you for serving the Lord alongside us. From Costa Rica to London, Argentina to Klamath Falls, God is opening tremendous doors and using our partnership to bring glory and honor to Him.
