MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN EAST AFRICA!

As many of our friends know, Wendy and I have completely fallen in love with Africa. We have given so much of our lives to that wonderful land. Sharing the Good News with its beautiful people. And now, we’re so excited to be invited back in September to Nairobi, Kenya.

Not only will we serve together in eye glass clinics, soccer clinics, schools, and orphanages, we’ll also be blessed to have you with us at the festival, praying, counseling, and serving right along with us. It will be amazing! I can’t wait.

The Lord has certainly gone before us. He may be paving the way for you to join us on this trip to Nairobi as well.

Please take a look, pray about it, and truly ask the Lord to guide you. We’re only making this available to a few handpicked friends. We so want you to experience this.

MORE INFO ABOUT THE TRIP

Author and theologian John Stott reminds us that, “We must be global Christians with a global vision because our God is a global God.” The Palau team has long embraced this global vision and has made a commitment to serve in Africa every year to be a part of what God is already doing there. This year we want you to experience God’s work in Nairobi alongside us!

Wondering where you would fit in? The Palau team will help you find the right opportunity for your unique skills and interests, provide all necessary training, and make all in-country logistical arrangements for a safe and rewarding time of ministry.

The needs and opportunities in Nairobi are many and are growing! Some of the ways you can serve include:

  • READING GLASS CLINICS: A team of volunteers will work with an ophthalmologist to fit people with reading glasses and share the gospel with those in the clinics. No experience, no problem! We will train you how to do this!

  • EVANGELISM TEAMS: Conduct children’s ministry and outreach events in schools and orphanages in and around the city with our children’s evangelist and action sports teams.

  • SPORTS CLINICS: Help conduct sports clinics that combine the power of sports and evangelism to reach children in the community with the Gospel.

  • PRISON MINISTRY: Opportunities to minister to those in prison are developing as well. No life situation is beyond our God’s reach.

  • FESTIVAL MINISTRY: All teams have the privilege of serving as counselors for new and recommitting believers as well as an opportunity to serve in the children’s area at the festival.

DATES: September 9-18, 2023. September 15-17 is the festival.

COST: The initial cost of this trip is $1,730 per person. This does not include airfare. We’re requesting a non-refundable deposit of $346 to secure your spot. The trip cost covers lodging in a double occupancy room, meals, ground transportation, and ministry supplies.

LODGING: The Sarova Panafric, A 4-star hotel in the city.
