Like so many of you, we’re praying for our cities and our nation in these days of trouble and turmoil sparked by the killing of George Floyd.
The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 12:26, “If one part suffers, all the parts suffer with it.” We grieve with our brothers and sisters who have experienced generations of suffering as a result of the sin of racism. We all need God’s grace to obey Christ’s command to “love your neighbor as yourself.” We’re fully confident in the power of the Gospel to change lives, including our own, and that’s what we’re dedicated to. We stand with local churches all across the country that are the hands and feet of Jesus in their neighborhoods and commit to doing all we can to help them as they love their communities, stand for justice, and share the life-changing Good News of Jesus Christ.
As a team, we remain passionate about our mission to proclaim the Good News, unite the Church, and impact cities worldwide. May God grant us the humility to listen well, to weep with those who weep, and to continue to graciously share the Good News.
